Hezbollah Leader Nasrallah Claims October 7 Attack Was ‘100% Palestinian,’ Warns of ‘Unimaginable Costs’ for Israel

In a recent address, Hezbollah’s leader Hassan Nasrallah spoke about the October 7 assault, asserting that it was entirely carried out by Palestinians and had no involvement from Hezbollah. Nasrallah emphasized that the operation was executed with total secrecy, with even other Palestinian factions being unaware of it. He underscored that the attack was solely motivated by the Palestinian cause and not linked to any international or regional issues.

“The international community keeps bringing up Iran and its military plans, but the October 7 attack was a 100% Palestinian operation, planned and executed by Palestinians for the Palestinian cause, it has no relation at all to any international or regional issues,” Nasrallah stated.

Nasrallah’s comments came as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a warning to Hezbollah, cautioning against any mistakes made by Israel’s adversaries in the North. Netanyahu stated that such errors would bring “unimaginable costs” to Hezbollah.

Nasrallah also expressed gratitude to groups in Yemen and Iraq, part of the “Axis of Resistance,” for their support. He asserted that Lebanon joined this coalition on October 8.

Furthermore, Nasrallah boasted about Hezbollah’s military actions along the Israel-Lebanon border, claiming that these actions had diverted Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) away from the conflict with Hamas in Gaza. He made it clear that these actions were ongoing, stating, “This is not the end.”

“Some would like Hezbollah to engage in an all-out war, but I can tell you: What is happening now along the Israeli-Lebanese border is significant, and it is not the end,” Nasrallah declared. He highlighted Hezbollah’s strategic operations and the impact on the IDF.

“Our operations on the border have forced the IDF to divert forces, weapons, and equipment from Gaza and the West Bank to the Lebanese front. One-third of the IDF is now amassed on our border,” Nasrallah claimed.

The situation along the Israel-Lebanon border remains tense, with Hezbollah’s actions and statements raising concerns about the potential for further escalation in the region.

The international community continues to monitor developments closely, as tensions persist in this volatile part of the Middle East.
