HTS Announces New State in Syria: “Syrian Arab Republic” with Ahmed al-Sharaa as Leader
During a live television broadcast, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that the state established by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) in Syria will be called the “Syrian Arab Republic.”
