Bridging Theory and Practice in Media Training
Now in its sixth year, MJW is an interactive online certificate program that focuses on experiential learning through mentorship, expert-led sessions, and collaborative journalism projects. The program targets university students studying journalism, communication, or media studies, as well as early-career media professionals and civil society activists.
Participants will explore a wide array of topics including media literacy, ethical journalism, digital safety, censorship, and the intersection between journalism and human rights advocacy. By encouraging critical analysis and hands-on engagement, the program aims to equip emerging media voices with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today’s rapidly changing media landscape.
